Something a bit different from the classic kitesurfing safari. This epic 2 day/1 night adventure takes you sailing on a beautiful yacht bound North to one of the Red Sea’s best kitesurfing spots.
You will learn the ropes and be part of the skipper’s crew, sailing to Tawila Island to enjoy 2 unique days of kitesurfing on its crystal shores. Our yachts provide full board, with delicious, hearty meals to keep you going on the water. En route back to El Gouna, experience world renowned snorkeling. This trip is ideal for advanced or experienced riders.
Kitesurfing Flotilla
280€ per person - 2 days/1 night
This flotilla sets sail from El Gouna’s Abydos Marina, bound North to Tawila Island for a kitesurfing adventure. Learn your way around a yacht and be part of the crew as the skipper shows you the ropes and the basics of sailing.
Tawila Island, a 2 hour journey from El Gouna by yacht, is world renowned for its perfect wind conditions, flat lagoons and beautiful crystal waters. It has become a kitesurfer’s paradise for independent riders, and is where the flotilla anchors overnight.
The zodiac will be used to transport gear and guests to and from the island and serve as a rescue boat while you enjoy some of the best kitesurfing conditions that the Red Sea has to offer.
You’ll have two days and one night here, so there’s plenty of time to kite, snorkel and bask in the sun. The local fishermen often pass by and provide a delicious fresh fish dinner for all onboard.
The flotilla needs to be back on the shores of El Gouna by sunset the following day, and there is the option of stopping at some stunning reefs for a quick snorkel on the route back.

Itinerary DAY 1
6.30am Minibus pick up (in El Gouna only)
7.00am Setting sail from Abydos Marina, breakfast en route
9.30am Anchor at Tawila Island, transport gear to beach, first session of the day
12.30pm Lunch, provided onboard
2.00pm Post lunch kite session. Everyone is free to kite, swim, snorkel, till sundown
6.00pm - 7.00pm Sunset session, pack up and back to boat
7.30pm Dinner followed by end of day games, music, games and a well earned sleep!

6.00am Option to wake up for a sunrise session
8.00am Breakfast
9.00am - 12.00pm Kitesurfing, sunbathing, chilling
12.00pm Lunch, provided onboard
1.00pm - 3.00pm Last chance to kitesurf before setting sail back to El Gouna*
5.00pm El Gouna, transportation provided back to accommodation
*There is the option of leaving earlier and stopping for snorkeling on some of the best reefs the Red Sea has to offer.
Need to know
The boats
The yachts are complete with sleeping cabins, fresh water showers and toilets. The trip is full board with breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. Water and soft drinks are also onboard. Guests must let us know or any dietary requirements prior to the trip. Kitchen space is limited, so it’s a good idea to bring an icebox with ice for any extra drinks or snacks you may want.
Kitesurfing
You are required to provide your kitesurfing license proving their level. You must be able to ride comfortably upwind. You will also need to bring your own gear, which will get stored onboard the night before the trip.* We recommend checking the forecast before selecting which sizes you might consider packing.
*We can provide premium kite gear upon request, for an extra charge.
What to bring
Towel, sunhat, sunblock, warm clothes, wetsuit and water shoes, music speaker, games, Gopro, special snacks.
Transportation
We only provide transportation to and from Abydos Marina within El Gouna. We can assist with booking any minibus or taxi from Hurghada. Sign up for one of our available dates or ask for a specific date for you and your group.

Booking: 25% (70€) down payment to reserve your place.
